(2) Prediction of promising fields for the prototyping industry
1, The current situation of outsourcing
1,Utilization
The utilization rate is high at research centers and large companies, but universities are using it only half as often.

Outsourcing is used extensively by research centers (90.2%), followed by large companies, venture companies and universities. Because universities have technicians and students who help with tests and experiments and do not need to secure extra productivity by using outside help, their use of outsourcing is relatively low and is often limited to technologies that are not available within the universities.
Among large companies, 31 of 38 companies (81.6%) are outsourcing some of the work. By business type, the manufacturers involved in foods, machines and devices are above average. Those involved in pulp and printing are somewhat lower, but still more than half of them are outsourcing.
Among research centers, over 90% of the companies of every business type are outsourcing, except 50% of the companies in pulp and printing.
Among venture companies, manufacturers of machines and devices and other products are outsourcing more often than others.
